A new Japanese teaser site from Namco Bandai promises a reveal on Thursday. The site’s tagline “all star battle” is suggestive of Namco’s involvement in the next Super Smash Bros, but last we heard from Nintendo, a reveal was still a way out. The site is gradually filling in with pieces of the puzzle, which seems to include a nautilus, an aquarium, some dried fruit or seeds and a city street. Mysterious. Stay tuned.

XSEED has dropped two trailers for an unannounced game expected in the US in autumn. One features localisation manager Tom Lipschultz in full on creeper mode, but more tellingly, another shows off art and teases a story strongly reminiscent of Corpse Party, an amateur game made in RPG Maker and later professionally ported to PSP.
An XSEED comment left on Siliconera doesn’t deny the connection.

We have to say, the new Crysis 2 teaser knows its place. Some teasers bare all after a single cat-calling whistle, but not this one. You see a man, and you see a robo-walker whose family tree is probably littered with Metal Gears, and that is all.
Looks real purty-like, though. Check it out after the break.

Amazing what you find when you’re least expecting it. There’s a new teaser for Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise after the break, which has seemingly randomly appeared on YouTube.
It’s an obvious piss-take of Bungie’s Halo 3 “Believe” trailer.
The movie’s live as opposed to CG, and features “good” piñata getting into pickles with the nasty red type. Poor piñatas. Take a look.
