Team PES senior producer Naoya Hatsumi has said at a recent Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 event in Brazil the series will use Kojima’s Fox Engine when it goes next-gen.

Konami’s made official this year’s Pro Evolution Soccer, releasing a Cristiano Ronaldo-based teased for PES 2013′s announce. There aint much else to it besides him walking down a flight of steps and the revealation of a full proper trailer coming next Tuesday, April 24. That also just happens to be the day EA releases UEFA Euro 2012. Just saying. Get the video below.

Konami’s announced that its no longer planning to release the first of two demos for Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 on Xbox Live.

Konami’s announced that Cristiano Ronaldo will be Pro Evolution Soccer 2012′s coverboy. The Real Madrid and Portugal international says he is “flattered” to be chosen as “the face of PES 2012, and by their reasoning behind the cover image.” There’s an image of the PS3 box below the break.
PES 2012 is out on October 14 for PS3, 360 and PC, with PS2 and PSP versions landing on October 28. It comes to Wii on November 4. Watch Pat pathetically play the demo here.

Konami’s announced it’s to release two demos of Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 ahead of the game’s October release. The first demo, launching on Wednesday, is a preview build that isn’t representative of the final game: it’ll feature ten minute matches, with teams including Manchester United, AC Milan, FC Porto, S.S.C Napoli, Santos FC, and C.A. Panaro. The second demo is more representative of the final game, featuring ten minute matches from teams such as Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Rangers, Club America and Sport Club Internacional in mid-September. Both demos will release on PSN, XBL and PC.
The full game launches on October 14 for PS3, 360 and PC, with PS2 and PSP versions launching on October 28.

Pro Evolution Soccer producer Shingo Takatsuka has told Eurogamer the development team for this year’s edition of the series was not quite “prepared” for this generation of consoles.
