Sonic Lost World boss is aware of comparisons to Super Mario Galaxy
Sonic Team boss Takashi Iizuka has said he is aware of the comparisons being made between Sonic Lost World and Super Mario Galaxy, but said not to worry: the new Nintendo exlcusive title is still distinctively Sonic.

PSA: Summer of Sonic takes place on June 25 in London
Fan-organised, yearly Sonic convention, Summer of Sonic, will take place on June 25, its been announced. Sega’s supporting the event, which will also be around the time of the blue fella’s 20th anniversary on June 23. The head of Sonic Team and long-time producer and director, Takashi Iizuka, as well as Yuji Naka, the programmer behind the original Sonic game all those years ago will be in attendance as well.
