Xbots are gaming’s best sexual partners – survey

20130121_xbox_360_controller

A little bit of whimsy to end the week on. Voucher Codes Pro conducted a survey of UK citizens, asking them if their partners played video games, and then to rate their performance in bed. 46% were rated at “average” or below at sex, which is a bit upsetting, but broken down by platform, things get quite interesting. 54% of Xbox 360-playing bedmates scored “good” or better, and 22% were described as “excellent”. The Wii U was the next best-ranked, and the PC was lowest. This is all pretty silly and no numbers were provided, so don’t start a flame war, but I thought you’d like to know.

Thanks, That VideoGame Blog.

Capcom seeks feedback on digital release plans

Capcom

Capcom has sked gamers to give their two cents, or even a whole dollar, on what the publisher should be doing in the digital sphere. A handy survey is available in which you can indicate your favourite Capcom properties, suggest whether re-releases, remakes or new entries are preferable, and even go into detail as to what games you’d pony up for. Capcom executive Christian Svensson has promised to share data with the Japanese arm in January, so get cracking.

Thanks, Siliconera.

Pac-Man – vote on new look, platforms

20121002_pac-man

Namco Bandai has opened a survey asking fans to vote on which of four looks they like best for Pac-Man, as well as what platforms they use the most and some basic demographic information. Visit the yellow hero’s Facebook page to have your say; presumably the publisher is asking for research purposes ahead of future games, and not just to while away an autumn evening.

Thanks, Gematsu.
