Diabolical Pitch footage lurches out of TGS
One of the more obscure highlights of Tokyo Game Show so far has been the big reveal Diabolical Pitch, formerly known as Codename D. Take Japanese favourite Suda51 and the team at Grasshopper Manufacture, throw in some motion controls, a baseball bat and some scary monsters, and you’re onto a winner.
While we haven’t yet had a chance to try out the upcoming XBLA title, the sneaky folk over at Joystiq smuggled a video camera in and grabbed some more footage of the game in action, plus a shaky-cam version of the first trailer.

Suda has 100 social game ideas, wants to make NMH “social game with the most blood”
We say “social gaming,” you say, “ewwww.” Normally, anyway. But what if we then say “Suda 51“? Oh goodness, you’re looking quite pale. You should probably sit dow– and your head just exploded. Now we get to say “ewwww.” But! Your head’s loss isn’t in vain, because we’re going to use it for a relatively serviceable segue. Because… because blood. Yeah.

That announcement from Hideo Kojima that was promised last night? It’s not a game, but it’s not an empty-handed announcement either: the formal announcement of Project S, a radio play of Snatcher, with the involvement of Grasshopper’s Suda 51 and Akira Yamaoka.

Suda on Shadows, No More Heroes sequels: “It’s all about the people”
Shadows of the Damned is so five minutes ago. Now Shadows of the Damned 2 – which may or may not ever exist – that’s where it’s at. Or it will be. You know, if it ever gets there. See, it all depends on you. That’s right: in this single shining instance, you are important. Well, if you don’t count every other gamer in existence, anyway.

Shadows of the Damned developer diary is a bit wacky
Goichi Suda and Shinji Mikami are featured in a new developer diary for Shadows of the Damned, acting silly and chatting about the game amidst some gameplay footage. The man providing the translation’s voice is a bit put on, but its suits the mood. Shadows of the Damned is set to release on June 21 on PS3 and Xbox 360. Enjoy the video below courtesy of Game News.

Shadows of the Damned suffers slight delay
And when we say “slight,” we mean it. Suda 51′s latest descent into unspeakable (and unspeakably bizarre) madness has taken a two week tumble. Now dated for June 21, the game was originally set to hit shelves on June 7. If you need something to do while you’re coping with this seismic shift in the year’s release calendar, you can always read our GDC impressions and giggle at the game’s “boner” gun mode. Thanks, GameSpot.
