Capcom has announced that Street Fighter x Tekken Version 1.08 will release on PC Monday, April 22. You can grab the long-awaited patch on Steam or through Windows Live. Also known as Version 2103, the update has been available for consoles for some time now.

Capcom has announced that all of the remaining DLC for Street Fighter X Tekken will finally release for PC on February 6. To compensate for the long wait, the 12 new character DLC pack will have a 75% discount for two weeks making it $5.00 instead of its the $19.99. The firm also said development continues on SFxT 2013, a.k.a. version 1.08, and a release date will be announced when more information is available.

Capcom fans have compiled a huge pile of details on balance changes coming to Street Fighter x Tekken in the free Version 2013 patch. You can check out a text log on the on the Capcom Unity forums, or visit CapcomFightersTV for videos showing individual characters in action. The changes to the crossover fighter are so extensive that even this little avalanche does not yet take in the whole shake up. The patch has not been dated.

Street Fighter x Tekken and Darkstalkers Resurrection producer Tomoaki Ayano has posted a couple updates pertaining to both titles on Capcom Unity. The blog post highlights balance changes coming to SFxT such as Vega’s Bloody High Claw, Heihachi’s Heaven’s Wrath, and Yoshimitsu’s Sword Poke Whirlwind. More detailed updates on the changes will detailed next week or the week after. Over on the Darkstalkers Resurrection website, the character section has been updated with Bishamon, Lord Raptor, Sasquatch and Victor, with a rundown on all their special moves. It’s in Japanese, but Google does a decent job of translating it, so feel free to click.

Street Fighter X Tekken will launch with Cross-Link implementation on Vita, Capcom confirmed during NYCC this weekend. Cross-Link will allow players to use Vita as PS3 controller of sorts when they own both the PS3 and Vita versions of the game. Using Vita as a console controller allows players to use the touchscreen and rear touch panel in order to pull off fighting moves with the swipe of a finger. SFxT is out later this month on Vita. Capcom has announced it will be bringing playable demos of DmC Devil May Cry, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure HD, Lost Planet 3, Marvel vs Capcom Origins, Okami HD, Resident Evil 6, Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection, the Vita and iOS versions of Street Fighter X Tekken and more to PAX Prime this Labor Day weekend. There will also be additional special promotions and giveaways, so attendees are encouraged to visit booth 3425 as often as they can.
