Snowman and the Snowdog game passes 1 million downloads
The Snowman and the Snowdog saw many tears shed over the Christmas holidays. One bunch who definitely aren’t crying right now are the developers of the Channel 4 show’s companion app Crash Lab, founded by ex-Free Radical dev Steve Ellis.

Free Radical offered Goldeneye return pre-administration, Battlefront 3 “pretty much done”
Before it entered into administration and was subsequently bought by Crytek, Free Radical was offered the chance to make a second Goldeneye game with Activision, studio co-founder Steve Ellis has said.

Ex-Free Radical and Rare developers form iOS studio Crash Lab
Ex-Free Radical and Rare designers have formed a new iOS studio called Crash Lab. Consisting of Free Radical Design’s Steve Ellis and Rare’s Martin Wakeley and Lee Musgrave, the studio was formed in November and three iOS games are currently in the works. Twist Pilot and Flying Rocket Defence are two of the titles. The UK firm also announced it has formed “partnerships with a diverse range of companies.” Thanks, Gamasutra.
