Analyst – GTA V to sell 14 million units at launch
Stern Agee’s Arvind Bhatia said in a note to investors today he expects GTA V to sell 14 million copies at launch and provide $700 million in revenue for Take-Two Bhatia also said it’s “all but a given” that the game will release before the end of T2′s fiscal year on March 31, 2013. In its latest financial release, for fiscal year 2013, the firm expects revenues for Q1, ending June 30, 2012, to hit between $225 to $275 million, and $1.75 to $1.85 billion in revenue for the full year, ending March 31, 2013. So, it expects GTA V to do well. The previous entry in the series. GTA IV, shipped 13 million before the end of its first year on the market, and has now shipped over 20 million units. Analyst expects Diablo III to sell 3.5 million units in 2012
Stern Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia expects Actvision-Blizzard’s Q1 FY12 financial results, which will be reported on May 9, to be in line with street expectations and feels the firm’s Diablo III will be a potential catalyst for the firm’s stock pricing. Speaking in an industry note, Bhatia said with that even with Diablo III “releasing after a gap of 12 years,” it has the “potential to sell more than 4 million units life-time, including 3.5 million units this year.” The analyst noted Diablo II had sold 4 million units by August 2001 within 14 months of its release in June 2010.
Likely the game will sell extremely well, and we expect many people to call in sick to work come May 15.

Wii 2 announcement at E3 predicted by analyst
Nintendo needs to be back up to speed with its hardware, so it’s going to announce Wii 2 at E3 in June. At least, that’s according to the prediction one analyst.

Analyst: WoW accounted for half of Acti-Blizz’s 2009 revenue
Stern Agee’s Arvind Bhatia has predicted that WoW subs amounted to earnings per share of about 30 cents out of a total 60 cents, or around $400 million total, in Activision Blizzard’s fiscal year ended December.
The MMO currently has 11.5 million subscribers, the publisher has said.
Bhatia lowered his fiscal 2009 Activision estimates from $5.2 billion to $4.9 billion in revenues yesterday, and dropped earnings per share estimates from 65 cents to 60 cents.
