First round of BlizzCon tickets on sale now
The first round of tickets for BlizzCon are now available for purchase on the BlizzCon site. Tickets for the two day event held in Anaheim, California which starts November 8 are $175.
For those not ready to purchase tickets yet, another round of tickets go on sale on April 27 at 10am, courtesy of Shack News. The event will feature the 2013 StarCraft 2 eSports World Championship Series Global Finals, so fans better get in quick.
Blizzard will also announce pricing for Virtual Tickets of its live-streaming coverage down the track. Furthermore, tickets to the BlizzCon Benefit Dinner go on sale May 1.

Report – Blizzard registrant secures StarCraft.com
Fusible reports the domain name StarCraft.com may finally be the property of Blizzard, 15 years after the first game’s release. The domain recently changed hands and was re-registered to Mark Monitor, which has acquired several domains for Blizzard in the past. There doesn’t seem to have been a legal challenge so whoever the new owner is, they probably shelled out to kick off the RV buyer’s guide and boat site owners. Don’t rush off to take a look just yet; the domain hasn’t been updated yet, and it’s hosting some pretty dodgy-looking stuff.

StarCraft II “might” work on Wii U, but PC is “optimal”, says Blizzard
Dustin Browder, lead designer on StarCraft II, has said if Blizzard ever decided to bring the strategy title to consoles, it “might” work on Wii U – but don’t count on it.

StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm units detailed, new multiplayer video
Blizzard has revealed some of the multiplayer units for StarCraft II and a video of them in action as well. The expansion will focus on the Zerg, but the other two races will get new units and abilities as well.

eSports page added to StarCraft II website
StarCraft tournaments are popular occurrences, and Blizzard wants you to be able to keep up with the schedule. If you venture over to the StarCraft website, you’ll notice the Esport section which details the various tournaments occurring or coming up.
