Capcom has announced the Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition 2012 update will applied to the PC version by the end of February. The patch, which was released on consoles December 13, includes roster rebalancing, with overhauls for characters such as: Codey, Evil Ryu, Fei Long, Gen, Gouken, Hakan, Makoto, Oni, Yun and Yang. All characters have been played with a bit, but some, like Sagat, were only given slight touch ups. Additional updates on the patch are expected “in the coming weeks.”

Digest these so that you can look casually super-knowledgeable in front of your mates with nary a care nor bother.

Those planning on purchasing Super Street Fighter Iv: Arcade Edition can net a bobble bud set with a pre-order. It contains Dark Hado along with Oni and Evil Ryu. We already have the Evil Ryu one, and he is constantly battling it out with the Chuck Greene equivalent. You wouldn’t believe the chaos those two cause on our end table. They are constantly messing things up. SSFIV:AE hits as DLC June 7, and will be out on disc starting June 24.

Dengeki PlayStation is reporting that no additional characters for Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition will be released post launch. So what you get with the Arcade version will be it. Arcade, which was officially announced this month after being leaked to hell and back, will be made available as DLC for PS3 and Xbox 360 on June 7. A disc version for both consoles and PC is slated to hit stores starting June 24 in Europe. It will run you $14.99 whether you purchase it digitally or on disc. Thanks, Andriasang.
