Spelunky DLC adds eight new characters
Spelunky’s latest content drop, the Explorers DLC, adds eight new characters for use adventure and deathmatch mode: the Eskimo, the Robot, the Viking, the Round Girl, the Round Boy, the Cyclops, the Ninja and the Golden Monk. The DLC will set you back 160 MS Points. Not familiar with the Xbox Live Arcade title? Try a free, limited browser-based version.

Multiplayer sale, Kinect Central kicks off XBL Marketplace offerings
Microsoft has updated its Xbox Live content schedule, and the releases kick off today with – as you are already well aware of – Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut, Battlefield 3: Close Quarters, and the Dawnguard DLC for Skyrim. But there are other goodies available such as Haunt for free via Kinect Central, and some on the way – such as Spelunky – so hit the page break and have a look.
