Yager, the team behind Spec Ops: The Line, have come from a background of limited access to hardware and software resources to arrive where they are today. Originating in East Berlin, the early days saw the team deep in East Berlin’s piracy scene due to this lack of access.

2K has announce the free co-op DLC for Spec Ops: The Line will release “approximately” in August, according to Gamespot. The DLC adds four co-op missions which take place prior to the game’s single-player campaign. Screenshots depicting co-op were posted earlier this month and can be accessed through here. Spec Ops: The Line launched in the US today and you can get caught up on all the reviews here.

2K has released a set of screenshots and artwork showing co-op in Spec Ops: The Line, which will be available for download as DLC shortly the game is released on June 26.
