Yager, the team behind Spec Ops: The Line, have come from a background of limited access to hardware and software resources to arrive where they are today. Originating in East Berlin, the early days saw the team deep in East Berlin’s piracy scene due to this lack of access.

Spec Ops: The Line writer calls for less violent games

GDC 2013 adds Spec Ops and FTL talks

Spec Ops: The Line free co-op DLC to launch “approximately” around August
2K has announce the free co-op DLC for Spec Ops: The Line will release “approximately” in August, according to Gamespot. The DLC adds four co-op missions which take place prior to the game’s single-player campaign. Screenshots depicting co-op were posted earlier this month and can be accessed through here. Sandman – Spec Ops: The Line gets hellish launch trailer
Yager’s Spec Ops: The Line releases in the US tomorrow, sinking Walker and his squad of Dubai-probing numpties down to an especially sandy hell, apparently. Still trying to work out exactly why these people are walking around in the UAE without any water or support, but whatever. Extreme prejudice, and all that. It’s out in Europe this Friday.

Spec Ops: The Line E3 screens show co-op in action
2K has released a set of screenshots and artwork showing co-op in Spec Ops: The Line, which will be available for download as DLC shortly the game is released on June 26. Spec Ops: The Line demo hits PC June 19, system specs released
