The firm announced the split today, which also marked the release of its digital title, Sacred Citadel. The firm is now 100% independent, and while the years with Tactel were “great for Southend,” now is “the right time for Southend to manage its own destiny and to invest in its own products,” said CEO Fredrik Brönjemark. Ilomilo plus out now on Windows 8, tablets
Xbox Live Arcade puzzler ilomilo is now available on the Windows 8 store, rejoicing in the new appellation of ilomilo plus, although sadly still lacking in proper capitalisation. This PC and tablet version has two new chapters packed with puzzles and story and supports control pads, touch screen or mouse and keyboard controls. It’ll set you back $7. Why should you check out ilomilo? Because it’s really fun to say out loud at high speed in an alien voice. Ilomiloilomiloilomiloilomilo.
Developer Southend Interactive is now working on Sacred Citadel, for Deep Silver.
Thanks, Polygon.
