Obsidian showed a debut trailer for its RPG, South Park: The Stick of Truth during the 2012 VGAs. It was an awesome video, and you can watch it below. South Park: The Stick of Truth releases on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 in THQ’s “early fiscal 2014″.

More South Park: The Game screens and art pop up online
Art and screenshots from Obsidian’s RPG, South Park: The Game, popped up on Ausgamers over the holiday break. Granted, some of these shots can be found over on Game Informer’s site, where it had exclusive month-long coverage of the game in December, so you may have seen some already. That being said, there isn’t such a thing as too much South Park in our book, so go have a look at the shots through the links. The game is slated for release during the second half of calendar 2012 on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

South Park combat will consist of “kids being little bastards”
When Obsidian showed South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker an early build of combat in the new RPG based on the series, the show’s creators told the firm it wanted the kids to not only cry more, but bleed more as well.

New screens for South Park: Let’s Go Tower Defense Play popped up on the net, courtesy of Shack.
To be made available on October 7, it’s exactly as the name suggests. A tower defense game.
What could be better than a game starring a fat fascist, a bleeding heart, a poor pervert in a hoodie and a kid whose Dad holds the record for the largest poo?
Dunno really, but we’ll find out soon enough.

South Park XBLA game to be revealed at Comic-Con

During E3 2008, Microsoft revealed a South Park Xbox Live arcade game and neither hide nor hair has been seen from it since.
Enter Comic-Con, where the game will be shown by Microsoft along with Alan Wake, Gears of War 2: Dark Corners, Halo 3: ODST, Left 4 Dead 2, Shadow Complex, The Beatles: Rock Band and a new trailer for Splinter Cell: Conviction.
The reveal for all will take place July 23.

MTV shows to air on PlayStation network
MTV and Sony announced at CES 09 last night that they have struck a deal which will facilitate PlayStation 3 owners to be able to watch certain MTV programs via PSN.
Shows such as The City, South Park, SpongeBob SquarePants and Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels will be available from February.
More shows “as they become available,” says the release.
No price as of yet.

New XBLA South Park title a strategy game
Gaming Today’s noticed that the South Park XBLA game Microsoft announced at E3 is apparently “a fun-filled and hilarious strategy game.”
We must admit this one slipped under the radar, so kudos to to the GT massive for keeping its eyes open.
