Namco Bandai at TGS – Vita, 3DS, Soulcalibur V
Famitsu already spoiled some of the big announcements to come out of the Namco Bandai pre-TGS press conference, but there were still some details to be chewed over and enjoyed. Expect big things for the PlayStation Vita launch lineup, Tekken, Ace Combat, Katamari Damacy and – of course, Soulcalibur V.

Early Soulcalibur games being considered for DLC release
With Soulcalibur V on the way soon, game director Daishi Odashima is getting pretty chatty on Twitter. While some of his posts relate to game design theory and the reasons behind certain decisions, he’s also getting awfully close to letting certain cats out of certain bags.

Soul Calibur V to be quicker than previous titles
Soul Calibur V producer Hisaharu Tago told gamesradar that the game’s design aims to be “faster, lighter, and more elegant” than its precursors.
Sould Calibur V will feature up to 30 characters, half of whom will be brand new. It’s due on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012; check out the latest screens here.
