PS Plus gets new subs offer
Sony’s said it’s dropping the price of a PlayStation Plus subscription to 15 months’ worth for the price of 12. Become a member of the exclusive club before 3 May and you’ll get the further benefit of the “free” three months. Existing members can take advantage of this offer too, thanks to the new subscription stacking service – renew your membership before your current one has ended, and you’ll get the deal when you subscription lapses.
PS Plus costs €49.99 a year.

Pachter: PS Plus needs 2-3 million subscribers for PSN to profit

Sony may see some profit from PlayStation Plus initially, but the company will need 2-3 million subscribers before it sees black from PSN as a whole, Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Patcher has claimed.

Anyway, at some point after Butler left and our hearts went with him, Sony toted out some videogame thing called PlayStation Plus. That plus, though, isn’t just a boring old math symbol. Instead, it’s like a pinata, which is the opposite of math. Just take a swing at it with your £39.99 subscription bat and all kinds of goodies spill out.
