SEGA and Feral Interactive have announced Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing and SEGA Superstars Tennis will release on Mac this summer. The former will include the single-player and split-screen multiplayer modes, and use Apple’s Game Center tech for use with Mountain Lion. Pricing, system requirements, and other details will be announced closer to the release date.

New Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing toys were spotted at the New York Toy Fair this weekend, and Kotaku reports a booth attendent said a sequel to the kart racing title is on the way. We’ve asked Sega for official word. The first game released on practically every possible format in February 2010 and drew a reasonably warm response.

Nelson’s announced the demo for Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing is now available on Xbox Live.

Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing will release for PS3, Wii and 360 in early 2010, Sega confirmed today.

The game features “mediaeval castle ramparts, lush rainforests and bustling cities” and sets the likes of Sonic, Eggman and AiAi against each other in “custom built vehicles”.
