Martin: Move doesn’t “ruin the experience” of SOCOM 4

European SOCOM producer Elliott Martin has reiterated that just because Move has been implemented into SOCOM 4, doesn’t mean that you are being forced to use it – nor will it ruin your experience with the game.

Zipper Interactive wants folks to know that just because SOCOM 4 supports Move and the Navigation Controller, doesn’t mean that you will be forced to use it.
There’s always the DualShock controller.

SOCOM 4 director provides info on the debut trailer

Zipper Interactive’s creative director, Ed Byrne, sat down yesterday to record a few tidbits of information on the trailer that debuted for SOCOM 4 on GTTV today.
In the video below the break – which is the same one that was posted earlier, just with Byrne chatting over it – he talks about the Ops Commander, how the it shows the core mechanics of the game, and how the video was a way for the team to show off the amount of guns in the game.
Apparently, there’s lots.

This is the “Surprise Sony sequel” that was originally promised for GameTrailers TV tomorrow morning.

Syphon Filter 5 listing was “error,” says production company

Yeah, well. It was fun while it lasted. CVG did the inexplicable in actually getting in touch with PCB Productions, the digital content firm that recently listed Syphon Filter 5 and SOCOM 4 as ongoing projects on its site.
Long story short: it’s not true.
“I apologize for the confusion. There appears to be some errors on our credits,” said the company.
“Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror was recorded a few years back with Image Metrics, and we recorded Red Steel for the Wii,” they said, adding: “We recently worked on Socom FTB 3 for the PSP.”
And that’s that.
