Sniper Elite V2 is heading to Wii U in May, if listings by Amazon and GameStop are any indication. Amazon has the title releasing on May 21 and GameStop has it down for May 24. Eurogamer notes the dates appear to be the US and UK releases, respectively. Rebellion and 505 Games were unavailable for comment on the matter.

Sniper Elite V2′s free multiplayer expansion was released today, and Rebellion has released a set of screenshots to accompany the mode. Released alongside the multiplayer, was the previously announced weapons pack DLC for use on and offline, and features the US M1 Carbine with an improved rate of fire and high ammo count. It also comes with the German MP44 and the British made Webley Mk6 Revolver. All three weapons are available as a single download priced at 240 Microsoft points or £3.19 through PSN. Sniper Elite V2 will receive multiplayer support on consoles, 505 Games and Rebellion have announced. The multiplayer DLC will be made available later this year on PS3 and Xbox 360, and will include Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch, Team Distance King, and Distance King modes. The PC demo of Sniper Elite 2 has launched on Steam, coming in at a download of 2Gb. The demo will come with what console players have had the past few weeks, as well as an exclusive six-on-six deathmatch multiplayer mode. Get it here.

The shooter’s out on May 4 for PS3, 360 and PC.

Rebellion has released a demo for Sniper Elite V2 through Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network. In the demo, which is 837.39 MB in size, you are an “elite US WWII sniper” named Karl Fairburne who goes behind enemy lines to uncover a “horrifying plot which threatens to kill millions of civilians throughout Western Europe.” Hit up XBL to find out if its available in your region. 505 Games has released a new video for Sniper Elite V2 featuring the pre-order bonus which will allow you to kill Hitler. The content will be provided in the game providing you pre-order from UK retailers prior to May 4, the game’s release date on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
