Sleeping Dogs lands on PS Plus in North America next week
Sleeping Dogs will arrive on PS Plus in North America on May 7, according to the latest PlayStation Blogcast. Plus members will also have Pinball Arcade added to their Instant Game Collection with the tables: Black Hole, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, Tales of the Arabian Nights, and Theater of Magic. The update will also include Knytt Underground and BlazBlue: Contiuum Shift Extend, both for the PS3 and Vita. Thanks, Joystiq.

Square Enix discounts select games through online store sale
Square Enix is holding a sale through its online store called April Savings Brings May Gaming where you can get 75% off select digital and boxed titles. The sale starts today and runs through May 2, and includes savings on titles such as: Tomb Raider, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Dead Island, Final Fantasy 13-2, Hitman: Absolution, Risen 2: Dark Waters Special Edition, Sleeping Dogs and more. Tomb Raider has sold 3.4 million units in the last four weeks, which is still a failure in the eyes of Square-Enix’s financial report. The company published a grim revision of its expected financials this morning, citing the poor performance of several titles as a key contributor.

New Sleeping Dogs DLC, Year of the Snake, now up on Steam
The newest story downloadable content for sleeper hit Sleeping Dogs is ready to go for you if you’ve got the game on Steam. Year of the Snake will have Wei fight some cultists who think the world is going to end on the Chinese New Year and are trying to “cleanse the city” to earn their salvation. Now that’s a party. Sleeping Dogs: Wheels of Fury drifts onto Steam
The previously announced Wheels of Fury DLC for Sleeping Dogs has arrived on Steam. The pack gives the player “full control of the ultimate prototype supercar”, the DZS-90, to drive around Hong Kong. The DLC sees players trying to uncover the story behind Dr. Tang’s secret prototype through five new missions which will also add upgrades to the vehicle. The DZS-90 in its final form includes “twin, concealed roof-mounted machine guns, 4-wheel steering, an electronic magnetic pulse, boosted speed and armor”, and new styling options. It will run you $3.99.

If you’ve yet to pick up Sleeping Dogs or Hitman: Absolution, you an get both for 75% off through Square’s online store. There are other titles on sale as well, for instance, Final Fantasy 7 can be picked up for 50% off. More savings through the link. Hurry: the sale ends on February 6 and is for the European region only from what we can tell. We didn’t see any mark-downs on the North American end at any rate.

Sleeping Dogs developer United Front hiring next-gen multiplayer programmers
Sleeping Dogs developer United Front is hiring network programmers in order to develop “multiplayer features of [its] next-gen console title”. The listing, spotted by NeoGAF and posted on OXM, reads: “We are looking for an experienced network programmer to work with our online team to develop the multiplayer features of our next-gen console title.” The position notes multiplayer experience is needed. Have look yourself and go ahead and start mulling around whether you you think it’s a sequel to Sleeping Dogs for Xbox 720 and PS4 or something else entirely.

RAGE: The Scorchers DLC and Sleeping Dogs Zodiac Tournament Pack hit PSN next week
RAGE will be the recipient of DLC next week on PSN with the long-rumored The Scorchers DLC. Sleeping Dogs players will also be privy to the Zodiac Tournament Pack. Sleeping Dogs Dragon Master DLC pack out today on PSN, watch the video
Sleeping Dogs DLC arrives today courtesy of the Dragon Master Pack. The pack includes the Triad Enforcer Pack, Police Protection Pack, Martial Arts Pack, GSP Pack, and the Deep Undercover Pack.
