Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City beta due early 2012
A beta for multiplayer squad-shooter Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City is expected “early next year”, according to producer Mike Jones.
Joystiq reports the beta was outed at Capcom’s Gamers Day 2011 last week.
Operation Raccoon City is expected on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the first half of 2012. See the latest trailer here.

Rumour – Star Wars: Battlefront Online canceled
Remember Star Wars: Battlefront Online? The multiplayer-only title apparently in development at SOCOM: Confrontation devs Slant Six? It’s no more, apparently.

Uncharted and SOCOM: Confrontation added to PS3 Greatest Hits
SCEA’s confirmed that Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and SOCOM: US Navy Seals Confrontation has been added to the PS3′s Greatest Hits collection in the US.
They’re both on sale for $29.99. Uncharted has been in the European Platinum collection for a good year or so now, you should go pick it up for about £15.
