Edge hands Skyward Sword a 10, more videos released

Edge has handed The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword a 10 in its latest issue, which goes on sale next Tuesday, October 25. The magazine said the game turned Nintendo’s hardware into “the console it was always meant to be.” To get an idea of whether you will feel the same as Edge or not, more gameplay videos have been released for the title, showing off the Eldin Volcano area of the game. Those are posted below, and if you head on over to Gematsu, you can find out more details on the new race living in the hot, melty mountain. Beware of possible spoilers, though. Game’s out next month on Wii.

Skyward Sword trailers, screenshots, and Faron Woods details released

Haven’t had your fill of Zelda videos yet? Then you are in luck, as Gematu has posted a couple more, and we’ve inserted them below. The videos show Dowsing, and the Skyview Temple. Through the link, you can also glean information on Faron Woods, Dashing, Dowsing, the Kikwi Tribe, and the ever present Slingshot. There’s some screenshots in there as well. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is out next month.

Skyward Sword videos show intro, Miyamoto talking cost of development

In a video clip posted below, the opening intro to The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is shown. Below that, is another video featuring Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata and Shigeru Miyamoto chatting about Zelda’s development costs. Miyamoto said in it he is unsure whether the amount spent on the game is the most ever for a Nintendo title or not, but it still cost quit a few purple rupees. Sadly, the video has not been translated into English yet, but there’s some gameplay footage shown in the interview between the two industry vets. Thanks, Andirasang.
