Skyrim Legendary Edition is real, out in June
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Legendary Edition has been announced by Bethesda, after a retailer listed the title last week.

Skyrim: Legendary Edition spotted through Polish retailer
Skyrim: Legendary Edition has been spotted at Ultima, a Polish retailer and is down for a June 7 release, according to a Eurogamer Poland report. According to the retailer, the pack will contain Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn DLC packs for PS3 and Xbox 360 for around £35/$54 with the PC version said to run £29/$44. While Bethesda has not announced such a SKU yet, it would not be uncommon for the firm, as it has released bundles for its Fallout and Elder Scrolls series in the past. Skyrim: Hearthfire out later today in US, non-English versions to receive update 1.8
Skyrim’s Hearthfire will release on PS3 later today in the US, and tomorrow in Europe, and will be 50% off as promised. Next week, the English version of Dawnguard will also be released for 50% off and Dragonborn, Hearthfire, and Dawnguard will become available in French, Italian, German, and Spanish territories on Wednesday, February 27. To prepare for release, Bethesda is releasing the 1.8 title update for those territories later today. More information is available through the Bethesda Blog.

Skyrim title update 1.8 released on PSN ahead of Dragonborn release
To prepare your PS3 for today’s launch of Dragonborn on the PS Store, Bethesda has released title update 1.8 – listed as 1.08 in the US and 2.08 in Europe. The update provides general memory and stability improvements, fixes a crash when using vampiric grip, an issue related to duplicate NPCs, Arnleif and Sons Trading Company will no longer become permanently locked, and some stubborn exterior doors will now open properly.
Insert your Skyrim game disc to begin downloading the update.

Skyrim HD Texture Pack updated on Steam
Bethesda has released a Steam update to Skyrim’s HD Texture Pack. The update adds improved textures for Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn. The firm notes that before downloading, to make sure your system requirements exceed Skyrim’s recommended specs; you have Windows Vista/7; a minimum of 4GB of RAM; and a DirectX 9.0c compatible NVIDIA or AMD ATI video card with at least 1 GB of RAM and the latest drivers. This means, I’m out. Those who already have the free texture pack installed should be aware that the update is approximately 4.7 GB in size.

Skyrim’s Dragonborn DLC now available on Steam
Skryim players on PC can now visit Solstheim, thanks to the Dragonborn add-on which arrived
on Steam today for $19.99. PS3 users in North America can pick up Dragonborn February 12; Hearthfire on February 19; and Dawguard on February 26. Those in the UK can pick Dragonborn February 13, Hearthfire on February 20 and Dawnguard on February 27 via PSN.

Skyrim: Dragonborn DLC now available for Xbox 360
Dragonborn, the latest add-on for Skyrim, is now available on Xbox 360. The content takes you off the coast of Morrowind to the island of Solstheim where you will traverse new towns, dungeons, and participate in quests. You will learn new shouts which can tame even the most cranky dragon and come face-to-face with the very first Dragonborn. It will run you 1600 MS Points and you can check availability in your region here. Dragonborn releases on PC and PS3 in 2013.

Skyrim 1.8 patch lands on Xbox 360
Skyrim 1.8 patch is now available on Xbox 360, according to OXM. The 25MB download fixes: general memory and stability issues, a crash involving the use of vampiric grip; Arnleif and Sons Trading Company will no lobger permanently lock its doors, and duplicate NPC issues have been fixed. The patch went into beta on Steam last month, and you can look over the list of fixes here.

Skyrim’s Hearthfire DLC now available on Steam
Skyrim’s Hearthfire DLC can now be purchased on Steam for $4.99. Hearthfire is the DLC which allows you to build your own home, use new crafting tools such as the drafting table and carpenter’s workbench and you can even start adopting children.
Bethesda said as soon as information is available for Skyrim add-on content, it will notify the pubic on its blog. We’re assuming this means the PS3 version of the DLC.
