Try LBP at The PlayStation Experience promotional tour
A Sony press release tells that its latest promotional tour, dubbed, “The PlayStation Experience,” is under way and attendees will be able to try out Singstar, Rock Band and LittleBigPlanet at various festivals and events across the US.
Interested? Game Vortex has all the info you need as to when The PlayStation Experience truck is coming to a town near you.

Next-gen SingStar at Leipzig
SCEE boss David Reeves has announced that “the next generation of SingStar” will be at GDC 08 in Leipzig, reports Eurogamer.
“If you come to Leipzig, you will see the next generation of SingStar,” he said. “That’s all I will say.”
That’s all he did say, too. A man of his word, David.

Microsoft’s Lips supports motion-sensitive wireless mics
The Gamerscore Blog let the cat out of the bag a bit early but Elite Beat Agents dev iNiSs Singstar clone, Lips will feature motion-sensitive wireless microphones.

My SingStar Online to hit net this year
According to PS3F, SingStar producer Paulina Bozek confirmed at the SCEE PlayStation Day last night that a web version of My SingStar Online will launch this year.
The site will allow internet users to see uploaded videos from the game. Apparently SingStar players will be able to say whether or not they want their videos to be viewed by the general public or held within the current, PS3-only system.

Paris Hilton turns up to SingStar party at Coachella
According to this Kotaku report, Paris Hilton and Carmen Electra showed their faces at the SingStar PS3 party at the Coachella festival in the US yesterday. There are pics and everything. Britain, take note: Nell McAndrew and some woman from Hollyoaks is no substitute. Sort out some proper people for Vol. 2, please.

Last week’s GDC was a strange affair that threw up more questions than answers. While it carried the predicted unveiling of Gears of War 2 and a Microsoft keynote holding traditional big hitters such as Fable 2 and Ninja Gaiden II, the event’s main speech’s message was by no means “the norm”. Yes, the blood, swords and guns were all where they were supposed to be, but at the core of John Sheppard’s keynote was a theme of radical change that permeated the entire conference, and one that left both developers and platform holders alike chewing their nails.

Singstar PS3 set for May launch in US
According to this, SCEA’s now fixed a May launch for the American edition of Singstar PS3, meaning that soon, US readers, you too will be able to bury your head in the sand, pretend you can sing, and do things you’ll probably regret for the rest of your life.
“We’re happy to announce that SingStar PS3 will be released in the US this coming May,” said SCEA’s Ryan Hamlyn. “We’re excited to share more information in the near future on all the cool features fans can expect at launch.”
