Ubisoft will be hosting an all-day demonstration of ShootMania at the Gaming Bunker, in Currys PC World – Tottenham Court Road, London. Attendees can try out the e-sports title online and against friends from 11am to 3pm on Saturday March 30. You could end up winning various prizes in the mini-tournament at the end of the day. ShootMania and TrackMania 2 have received Twitch integration, allowing gamers to stream their creations and matches live using the service.

ShootMania developer Nadeo has announced the second phase of its beta. The shooter, which comes with a sophisticated map-making suite, is gearing up for a January launch, but you can get involved in the beta now. We’ve got the ‘beta 2′ patch notes here.

According to the ManiaPlanet blog, Nadeo’s second iteration on the ManiaPlanet service has gone into alpha. The online tech will be the backbone of the Shootmania, Trackmania and Questmania families, and the developer is already priming users with the knowledge they’ll need to build the franchise’s celebrated user generated content with the new toolset. Ubisoft has announced a closed beat for TrackMania 2 Canyon will start in July, which will also mark “the beginning of ManiaPlanet,” a networked gaming system for PCs with tools for community-based game creation and participation.
