Demiurge Studios has announced Shoot Many Robots is now available for download on Android devices from Google Play. Those who aren’t Android users shouldn’t fret, as it will also be made available for iOS “in the near future.” Shoot Many Robots was released on Steam, XBLA and PSN last year.

Shoot Many Robots is now available for pre-purchase on Steam. The game releases on the service April 6 for $9.99, and for $29.99 you can get three copies of the game to hand out to friends, and a free copy for yourself. It also comes with Steam bonuses such as The Scrap Pack for the Medic or Pyro in Team Fortress 2, a gear set which will allow your character to don the garb of Gordon Freeman, and a nifty feature in which some of the robots will be replaced by Portal 2 turrets. Defenders of Ardania and Shoot Many Robots are both now available through XBLA. Both even have demos available if you would like to “try before you buy.” Hit up Major Nelson to check of availability in your region.

Ubisoft has released the launch trailer for Shoot Many Robots, the side-scrolling PSN and XBLA title from Demiurge Studios. The game follows the exploits of P. Walter Tugnut as he travels around in his RV filled with guns and beer killing robots. The game contains four-player co-op and item customization in two modes: Traversal, where players must progress linearly through a level; and Survival, where players fight against waves of robot hordes. The game is out today on PSN in the US, and tomorrow in the UK. It will release on XBLA tomorrow in both regions.
