Capcom has announced patch 1.02 for Street Fighter x Tekken has been released on Steam and Games for Windows Live. The patch addresses the rollback and sound quality issues affecting online play, and also introduces the gem selector menu for quicker menu surfing. The next patch will go right into update 1.05, which should also address the freeze issue that occurs when the knife from Rolento’s Stinger hits a normal projectile. No exact date is set, but the team has already begun work on implementing the update into the PC version.

Capcom has released Street Fighter X Tekken on PC. The game is now available at retail stores across Europe and worldwide on all major digital download sites. It includes all game modes and features from the console version, with added graphical options and 3D-vision capabilities. It retails for $49.99, but Steam has it 10% off at the moment, a it’s likely on sale through other outlets as well.

Capcom has announced the Street Fighter x Tekken patch which adds new color palettes and Boost Gem packs will be released May 16. The patch will also remove certain infinite combos. Full notes can be found through here and the list of Boost Gem packs and color palettes with pricing are below.

Capcom has announced the Swap Costumes for Street Fighter x Tekken are now available for download and will run you $1 each. Full sets will run you $13.00 each, and there are also three, free color packs containing four new additions to the palette. Also available are three new quick combos which brings the total to five attack patterns. Capcom also has word the online sound update will release on April 10 along with a tournament support update. Capcom has announced Pac-Man and Mega Man will be available for download via PSN on March 13 for Street Fighter X Tekken. Both are rather odd-looking renditions: Mega Man is based off the “bad box art “from the original NES game, and Pac-Man rides around a “Mokujin mech-thing that shoots lasers.” SFxT launches on March 6 in the US and March 9 in Europe. The PC version will be released in May, and the Vita version is slated for fall.

Posted below the break, you will find a gallery with images featuring Balrog, Juri and Vega from the Street Fighter series, along with Paul, Law and Xiaoyu from the Tekken franchise. Be sure to check out the videos below as well, as there are a couple surprises for you: Mega Man and Pacman. SFxT releases on PS3 and Xbox 360 in North America on March 6 and on March 9 in Europe. Street Fighter X Tekken producer Yoshinori Ono said said the fighter will have free and paid DLC available “post-launch for an allotted period of time,” and plans are to make it cross-compatible between Vita and PS3.
