New Bulletstorm screens show guns the size of monsters, monsters the size of bigger monsters

bulletstormmonsterguy

Would you describe the wait for Bulletstorm as “bearable”? How about “no big deal”? Does it only keep you restlessly awake – your skin slick with cold rivulets of sweat – a few nights per week?

If you answered “yes” to any of the above, you clearly haven’t seen Bulletstorm. Now’s your chance to fill that gaping, potentially fatal hole in your life.

redfactionarmageddon2

At the end of Red Faction: Guerrilla, things were pretty sweet. But now there’s been some kind of apocalypse. How on Mars did this happen? A brand new trailer – along with a few new screenshots – has some answers.

First Dragon Age II screens show new visual style, medieval ass-kicking style

dragonageii

Oh, don’t look sad, giant Darkspawn dude. Dragon Age is back, and it looks better than ever! So come on, buck up and swallow those crocodile tears that are, in fact, probably the size of actual crocodiles.

Well, ok. You’re still a bit on the ugly side, and if events continue to proceed down their current course, you’re probably going to die. But let’s focus on the positives!

New God of War III screens are family friendly

godofwar3_purple

Or at least, they’re as family friendly as God of War screens get. No blood, entrails, or cyclops-turned-no-clops in sight. Just Kratos and a big, mean monster man striking poses at each other.

There are also a couple shots of Kratos attempting to fly in a cave, which strikes us as counterproductive.

See them all over at Shacknews.

New Uncharted 2 screens are absolutely stunning

uncharted25

Like you expected any less.

1UP has seven new screens of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and — unsurprisingly — they look great.

There’s tundra, jungle, and explosions — so basically, Uncharted 2 in a nutshell. You’ll also find a couple shots of Nathan Drake acting as a crutch for wounded allies. That loveable rascal.

First FFCC: My Life as a Darklord screens look real purty

darklord

Eurogamer.pt has the first few screens of Square Enix’s Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King sequel, My Life as a Darklord.

The main character looks like the result of an embarrassing one-nighter between Tidus from Final Fantasy X and KOS-MOS from Xenosaga, we think. But otherwise, the game looks like an angel given the form of a small, circular disc that can be crammed inside a box.

Square Enix hasn’t really elaborated on the game much yet, but from what we can tell, it looks like something along the lines of Trapt on the PS2 — what with all the allusions to adventurer-thwarting.

Check out the screens through the link.

GDC: First Zelda: Spirit Tracks screens show spirit tracks, Zelda

zww-link13

Joystiq has cupped its hands beneath the first trickle of Zelda: Spirit Tracks eye-candy dripping forth from Nintendo’s pinata, and things are looking pretty nice.

The screens show Link on a train, clad in an adorable conductor’s outfit. The train also fires cannon balls, in case you were afraid that Link had lost some of his tenacious pirate spirit while making the jump into the Industrial Age.

New SKATE 2 screens feature men in compromising positions, grinding

Black Box may be planning its own funeral, but SKATE 2 is all set to come screaming out of the developer’s gates just before they slam shut for good.

Destructoid, then, nabbed ten fresh SKATE 2 screens from the game’s soon-to-be-deceased parents – as a reminder of their progeny’s bright future.

To be honest, though, we wish we could be writing this article about TimeSplitters 4. We really, really do.

Sony – No games support PS3 2.50 screen capturing yet

While Firmware 2.50 added screen-grabbing functionality to PS3 this morning, don’t get too excited. There’s aren’t any games you can use it with yet.

“There aren’t any games that support the screenshot capability just yet, but we know there’s a lot of excitement among PS3 owners for this feature and would expect developers to begin offering it moving forward,” SCEA told PSU.

“Supporting titles will be announced in the future.”

So there we are. We’ll be watching out for those screen-grabbable games with interest.

New Disgaea 3 screenshots released

disgaea37.jpg

Over at Watch Impress. They look pretty terrible to us, to be honest but it’s all about the gameplay, right? And that’s pretty darn hardcore.
