Sony to dispute ICO data breach fine, statement issued
SCEE has challenged this morning’s £250,000 fine issued by the UK Information Commissioners Office, stating that there is no proof that sensitive data was indeed breached. The company has replied to the fine by way of a statement.

SCEE partners with Gamer Camp, offers PlayStation Academic Scholarships
SCEE has partnered with Birmingham City University’s Gamer Camp, which will see the firm offering up PlayStation Academic Scholarships. The goal is to help provide an opportunity for the next generation of UK talent through professional development studies. Four students will have half the fee for Gamer Camp paid, as given the opportunity for paid work in one of SCEE’s UK development studios for six months. Students need to be signed up for Gamer Camp by August 9, and each will automatically be entered into the PlayStation Academic Scholarship. Thanks, GI International.
