With Bayonetta 2’s release looming this week, Nintendo has put out a short video featuring the lovely witch in Samus-themed duds.
Nate Bihldorff, senior localization manager and primary writer on Metroid Prime, has said Metroid co-creator Yoshio Sakamoto is “the only one who really knows” who Samus Aran is, and that when the character finally gained a voice, she was “always going to be different” from player expectations.
Team Ninja boss Yosuke Hayoshi has said that Samus’s appearance in Dead or Alive: Dimensions isn’t a playable one.
Dead or Alive: Dimensions has a couple new videos out, and one has Samus’ and her main enemy Ridley running around a Metroid: Other M stage.
Nintendo’s just date Metroid: Other M for June 27 in the US.
