Bleszinski on Saint’s Row: “Lose the gimps and dildos” to beat GTA
Ex-Epic designer Cliff Bleszinski has had a rather spectacular spleen-venting episode over on Twitter, in response to the sale of Saint’s Row to Koch Media. Bleszinski suggests that the series could give GTA a run for its money if it loses all of the dildos and immature content it’s known for. The series of tweets is actually pretty bloody spectacular.

Koch Media spent big at THQ’s auction yesterday, snapping up the Saint’s Row and Metro licenses, as well as developer Volition. The company has issued a statement on its purchase, promising a “bright new future” for its new IP and studio.

THQ has announced the Penthouse Pack for Saints Row: The Third. It features Nikki Benz, Justine Joli, Ryan Keely, and Heather Vandeven which are apparently “well-dressed Pets.” You can add the ladies to your gang your gang and call them into combat anytime. “For the first time in your life, when you call Penthouse Pets, they’ll actually answer,” says the PR. It is now available on Steam, PS3, and 360 for for $3 or 240 Microsoft Points. Shots and a trailer are below.

Gangstas in Space releases for Saints Row: The Third next week
THQ has announced new DLC for Saints Row: The Third will be released next week on on February 21. Called “Gangstas in Space”, it contains a new mission pertaining to the in-game movie. The only other bit of information gleaned from the official site regarding the content, is that the DLC will contain the character Jenny Jaros starring as Princess Kwilanna and aliens are somehow involved. Expect it to be as zany as previous content drops. Upon release it will run you $6.99, or if you have the season pass already, nada. Europe and the UK should expect it to land on PSN February 22 as part of the usual update process.

Saints Row: The Third Explosive Combat and Z Style DLC get trailered
A couple videos for Saints Row: The Third have surfaced, and show off DLC for the game. Posted below, courtesy of Ve3tro, the first one is of the Explosive Combat Pack which includes the Future Soldier outfit and the M2 Grenade Launcher. It will run you $2/£1.19/€1.49/160 MSP on PC, PSN, and XBL. The second one, is for the Z Style DLC Pack which includes the Z Style Suit and Bling Shotgun. It will run you the same price.
