Sacred 3: first screens show RPG combat, spells
Sacred 3 has received a new batch of screens that show off Keen Games’ RPG, which is heading to PC, PS3, PS Vita and Xbox 360 at an undisclosed date. The game also has a confirmed co-op mode.

Dead Island: Riptide and Sacred 3 to debut at PAX Prime next weekend
Dead Island: Riptide and Sacred 3 will be on show at PAX Prime in Seattle Labor Day weekend, according to an announcement from Deep Silver. Exclusive demonstrations of Riptide will be shown by the title’s senior creative producer Sebastian Reichert, and live multiplayer walkthroughs for Sacred 3 will be handled by senior creative producer Issac Parakhen. Sacred Citadel, will also be playable at the event. PAX Primes takes place in Seattle, Washington August 31through September 2. Thanks, Gematsu.

Sacred Citadel to grace console networks ahead of Sacred 3
The Sacred series is taking a temporary turn for the light-hearted with side-scrolling beat-’em-up Sacred Citadel.

Ascaron still working on Sacred 2 add-on
Ascaron still owns the license to Sacred, and it was not part of the IPs that Kalypso recently purchased from the troubled company.
According to the Sacred message boards, community manager Anca Adelina Finta stated:
“Studio 2 (subsidiary company of Ascaron) has the license for Sacred 2 and the devs will continue working at the add-on as they did before. In a nutshell, the add-on is not affected by anything and will come as planned.”
