Unnamed sources cited by Xbox World 360 as saying that Michel Ancel’s highly anticipated sequel will, in fact, release in this console generation. This comes despite Ancel himself making comments indicating that it will not make that deadline. More »

Rumor: Project Cafe to have touch screen you can feel
Have you ever wanted to stroke your game controller? Like a cat? Er, us neither. That would be weird. But – hypothetically – that angelic dream might be possible with Nintendo’s next console thanks to the wonders of technology and some good old-fashioned Nintendo insanity.

Rumor: Crysis 2 DirectX 11 patch still 2-3 months away
PC gamers have been extremely vocal about loving Crysis 2 with all their hearts and not wanting anything to change ever, but even so, whispers of a DirectX 11 patch began floating around 0.47 seconds after the game launched.
Some – while optimistic – have proven less than reliable. So, does this majestic mythical e-creature even exist? Apparently, the answer’s still “yes,” but you probably shouldn’t expect it to stroll into your office tomorrow.

Rumor: First screens of Halo: Reach “Defiant” map pack slip out
Reach is great and all, but let’s face it: if you have to go on one more murder-frolic around Swordbase, you’ll hurl your Xbox off an overpass in the middle of rush hour.

Rumor: First official PSP2 shot leaks out [Update: Sony comments]

Rumor: More PlayStation Phone videos leak out, bare all
We’ve already seen the PlayStation Phone strut its stuff on video once, but we’re using the term “see” loosely here. The previous video could very well have been incontrovertible proof that Jesus Christ once wrestled an army of space T-Rexes; thanks to all the blurring and shaking, we certainly wouldn’t have known any better. These new videos uncovered by Engadget, though, are crystal clear. No “I learned all my film techniques from pictures of Bigfoot” here.
