Infinity Ward moves onto MW2 DLC, doesn’t know what next project is
Infinity Ward’s Rob Bowling’s told MTV that its next game’s a mystery.
“We don’t know what our next game is,” he said, talking in the video interview after the break.
“Once we’ve finished [Modern Warfare 2], we’re going to do a lot of DLC support for it, and then we’re going to sit down and talk about what our next project’s going to be. It doesn’t mean this is the end, but right now, you know, we’re continuing the story and we’re concluding some storylines, but anything’s possible.”
Right. So it’s Modern Warfare 3, then?
“We always like to leave some opening, some air to breathe,” Bowling added. “So, you’re going to have to play it and see.”
Modern Warfare 3, then. Thanks, GoNintendo.

IW: No multiplayer reset for anyone who has retail MW2
Infinity Ward’s Rob Bowling has tweeted that anybody who has a retail copy of Modern Warfare 2, instead of a pirate/modded version, their multiplayer stats won’t be reset.
It comes as last week, Bowling said that a full multiplayer reset was on the cards.
“Any players who purchased a legit retail copy will not be reset or banned. Only modded / pirate versions will be,” he said.
Bowling also confirmed that anyone who got the game early from some retailers, including GameStop, won’t be punished.
“ANY store selling #MW2 early is in violation of street date. There are no “special permissions”. That said, we won’t punish players for it.”
There you have it.

Bowling: Wii not able to “deliver” IW’s “cinematic experience”
A worthy winner of the “no shit Sherlock” tag, a story posted by Develop has Infinity Ward’s Rob Bowling saying Wii isn’t up to delivering tech parity with the likes of PS3 and 360.
“If we felt like we could deliver the cinematic experience we were going for on other platforms, then we would gladly move to that platform,” he said.
“Right now, we don’t think the Wii can deliver the exact experience that we’re doing. We like to be very equal across all platforms, and if it’s not equal then we won’t do it.”

Infinity Ward has no “clue” about game to follow Modern Warfare 2
Modern Warfare 2, eh? It’s a monster. It’s so big, in fact, that Infinity Ward doesn’t have the faintest idea what it’s going to do after it.
“Right now we don’t have a clue what our next game is going to be, and we won’t know what it will be until we finish with Modern Warfare 2, which won’t be for a while,” developer comms boss Rob Bowling told IGN UK in London recently.

Thanks, BigDownload.
