League of Legends – LAN support being added for tournaments
League of Legends is getting LAN support for for tournaments, according to Riot CEO Brandon Beck, who said support will be added to the tournament finals scheduled for today. Whether a LAN support client will be released to the public is unknown. Riot also promised news on the Mac client would be coming “soon.” The League of Legends Season Two Finals take place today. League of Legends play-offs rescheduled for today
Riot Games has announced that the League of Legends Season Two World Play-off matches will take place today at 5pm Pacific Time (GMT -7). The play-offs were previously postponed due to technical difficulties; there were also allegations of cheating that were not upheld. The World Finals are set to take place on Saturday and the competition features a prize pool of $2m.
