League of Legends is now available to try on Mac thanks to the open beta. You can sign up and download it here. League of Legends developer Riot Games has opened an Australian office. Riot Games Sydney will house teams involved with marketing, eSports and community, and will apparently “craft unique experiences on the web and on the ground to support the growing League of Legends community in the Oceania region”. Riot Games Sydney is currently looking to hire a community manager and eSports co-ordinator. League of Legends is frequently described as the biggest game in the world and fronts the largest prize pools of any single title’s competitive league.
