Capcom France’s Antoine Seux has told Gamekult (thanks, Nintendo Everything) that it was very disappointed with Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles sales.

Seux said he feels Wii users have “moved on” from hardcore games, causing a lack of publisher support in 2010.

Looks like Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles will be getting an uncensored, German release according to Michael Auer, Sales & Marketing Director of CEG Interactive Entertainment.

Hooray for the Germans and Wii Insider for posting the information.

Also, Jack Krauser has been confirmed for the game. He will be aiding Leon in a South American scenario, and Capcom plans to unveil this new bit at TGS this month.

Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles has been given a dated by Capcom for November 27 in the UK and November 17 in the US.

Also, it will come bundled with the Wii Zapper.

As you know, the game combines Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica and has heroes Claire Redfield and Steve Burnside along with Leon “Cool as a Cucumber” Kennedy.

Famitsu reports that Ada Wong is to make an appearance in Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles.

This time around though, Ada will appear with Claire Redfield instead of just Leon.

Probably a no-brainer move to anyone who has played Resident Evil 2, especially considering how closely tied it is to Darkside Chronicles.

It was previously revealed that Sherry Birkin will make an appearance as well.
