Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski isn’t too impressed with the latest Resident Evil games, it seems. In a much-shared tweet, the former Epic staffer asked Capcom to call him, so that they could “fix Resident Evil. Together”. Capcom UK took it in good humour, suggesting only that Bleszinski bring pizza, and the developer later noted that his original comment had been “cocky“.

Resident Evil 6 produced very mixed reviews, although I’m not sure handing over to a western developer is quite the answer fans are looking for. Bleszinski seems to have a number of ideas as to where his career might go next.

Resident Evil 6′s next title update – which includes the free, on-disc DLC unlocks – will also introduce a new camera option.

A patch for Resident Evil 6 will go live on PSN at 5.00pm UK time, the EU PS Blog has tweeted. It’s an amended version of the day-one patch released alongside the game. Yesterday, PS3 users found the game would not boot up after installation and patching, so last night, Sony and Capcom offered a workaround, which involved uninstalling and re-installing the game. Hopefully the patch will fix any lingering issues.
