Alan Wake’s American Nightmare gets extended reveal trailer
Remedy’s released an extended version of Alan Wake’s American Nightmare’s reveal trailer today, as you’ll see below. The movie’s part of a drop related to a preview embargo, which has now lifted. We visited Remedy in Finland to see the game earlier this month, and found plenty of shooting and serial murder: catch out impressions here.

Remedy blames “very competitive window” for Wake figures, insists IP has “legs”
Remedy head of franchise Oskari Hakkinen has told VG247 that Alan Wake faced stiff opposition and “extremely aggressive marketing” from rival games in its May launch month, following last week’s NPD numbers showing low US sales for the thriller.

Interview: Remedy answers your questions on Alan Wake
Five long years after it was announced at E3, Remedy finally releases Alan Wake tomorrow in the UK and Europe for Xbox 360, with a US launch on Tuesday.
Anyone not buying it are obviously nuts for not doing so: game looks set to properly pump up the volume, according to reviews that came out for the thriller last week.
On Monday, we asked you for your questions for the Finnish developer, and you came in with an impressive set of them.
The best answer will get an Alan Wake Super Elite 360 bundle, with runner-up prizes consisting of Collector’s Editions of the game. We’ll let you know of the winners soon.
