Rock Band 3 DLC next week contains tracks from RHCP, Blink-182, All-American Rejects
Rock Band 3 is getting tracks from All-American Rejects, Blink-182, and Red Hot Chili Peppers next week.Previously available through Rock Band Blitz, the tracks are: Kids in the Street, Always, and Give It Away, respectively. Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrade will be available for the RHCP track. The tracks will run you the usual, and will release March 5 on PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360, and on PS3 in Europe March 6.

Rumor: Red Hot Chili Peppers getting their own Guitar Hero game
When we think of rock ‘n’ rollers that deserve their own games, we always harken back to the classics. Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen, etc. You know, era-defining bands like that.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers, though?
Huh. We never really thought about them. But now that we have, we’re actually pretty all right with this.

Rock Band 2 getting full albums from Foo Fighters, Chillis, Janes’s Addiction and Megadeth
According to this EW piece Rock Band 2 is to have some actual, proper, decent modern classic albums. Weren’t the 90s great? From the piece:
Stocking the digital bins, EW.com has learned exclusively, will be seminal full albums by Foo Fighters (The Colour and the Shape), Red Hot Chili Peppers (Blood Sugar Sex Magik), Jane’s Addiction (Nothing’s Shocking), Megadeth (Peace Sells… But Who’s Buying) and Stevie Ray Vaughn (Texas Flood), along with a specially-compiled No Doubt Best Of collection. All are slated to roll out in the coming months, according to MTV Games.
