That’s right. A cute, My Little Pony-esque unicorn can be yours if the Red Faction: Armageddon demo is downloaded one million times. Mr. Toots, as he is known, apparently shoots rainbow lasers out his bum which as you can see below, hurts the enemy rather badly. THQ’s released the demo for Volition action title Red Faction: Armageddon on Xbox Live. The taster comes in at 850Mb, as you try to free Mars from an alien destruction on the planet. THQ has announced it has delayed the release of Red Faction: Armageddon to June 7 in the US and June 10 in Europe. The game was originally set for release on May 31 in the US and June 3 in Europe, so the delay is only about a week. A demo on Xbox 360 is still planned for Tuesday, May 3 and PSN – if the service is back up by then. No reason was provided for the delay, but we’ll ask for one anyway. Thanks, Kotaku.

We missed this last night in the midst of the PSN madness. THQ has confirmed it’ll release a demo of Red Faction: Armageddon next Tuesday, May 3 for Xbox Live Marketplace. and PSN, assuming the latter is back by then. A PC taster wasn’t confirmed in the press release. It’ll arrive a month before the game’s release on PS3, 360 and PC on May 31 in the US and June 3 in Europe.
