Blizzard to test out Real ID Party in WoW
Blizzard’s said that it’s to test out new feature Real ID Party in World of Warcraft. The feature will enable WoW players to invite Real ID friends of the same faction to a party, regardless of what realm that friend is currently on at the time. That party can then queue up for a five-player dungeon on either normal or Heroic. There’s more details in an FAQ on GamePolitics.

Blizzard adds opt-out option to Real ID system
Blizzard has added an opt-out option to the Real ID system being implemented with World of Warcraft and StarCraft II and likely Diablo III.

Blizzard: Real ID feedback proves “the process worked”
Blizzard’s vice president of international operations, Michael Ryder, has said the feedback the firm received over the plan to implement Real ID proved to it the feedback process “worked”.

Blizzard U-turns on Real ID, confirms it won’t be implemented
