Ready at Dawn’s Dana Jan, game director for God of War: Origins Collection, has posted information on the PS Blog regarding the bonus content included with it. Inside the pack, you will find a Legionnaire Kratos skin, the Forest of the Forgotten combat arena, and a video of the Game Directors Live round table discussion and a chat with the various folks who have had a hand in the series over the years. The round table discussion with God of War developers took place last year prior to the launch of God of War: Ghost of Sparta, and a video featuring clips of it is posted below the break. God of War: Origins Collection is slated for release next week, and there is a demo for Volume II of the collection up on the PS Store today.

Not content with the Team ICO blowout, IGN’s gone live with ten minutes worth of footage from the God of War Origins pack. The pair, which will release as God of War Collection Vol 2 in Europe, will come with remasters of the two PSP titles in Kratos’ adventures: Chains of Olympus and Ghosts of Sparta. Get the openings of both games below. It releases in September for PS3.

Having taken on the God of War IP for a second time with Ghost of Sparta, developer Ready at Dawn is getting set to work on a new project: a game hinted at this morning.
Creative director Ru Weerasuriya chatted with Keza MacDonald about the PSP spin-off as well as development on Wii, piracy issues for PSP and DS, new IPs and what the future holds for the developer.

God of War: Ghost of Sparta’s right around the corner, meaning that Ready at Dawn’s just about to embrace the PSP in an awkwardly lengthy hug and permanently part ways with the portable.

Three dimensions can barely contain Kratos’ brand of raw fury, so cramming him into two dimensions probably would’ve been a bit like trapping a charging bull in a cage made out of China shops. Even so, Ready at Dawn momentarily considered flirting with that particular disaster while developing God of War: Chains of Olympus.
