Ubisoft has released a launch trailer for Rayman Origins, which will be released tomorrow as part of Vita’s launch line-up. The long-awaited 3DS release of Rayman Origins has secured a slot on the US retail calendar: March 30. Europeans are expecting it on March 16. A Vita release is due the week before the console’s launch, and PlayStation 3 Wii and Xbox 360 versions are available now. The luciously beautiful platformer had a rough start, launching right in release crunch, but is starting to make a splash at retail.

In a media blast regarding its action RPG Dungeon Hunter: Alliance, Ubisoft has announced it intends to push all its Vita releases out by February 14, a week in advance of the console itself. The decision will make all Ubisoft’s launch titles available to those who receive their console a week early as part of a US-only advance sales scheme. Early adopters look forward to Rayman Origins, Lumines, Michael Jackson: The Experience and Asphalt Injection.

Additionally, Gravity Rush, the gorgeous-looking adventure, is now officially expected on February 22.

NPD analyst Anita Frazier has told Eurogamer that Rayman Origins sold a little over 50,000 copies during the month of November in the US. While she wouldn’t reveal where it landed on the chart, she did tell the site that Sonic Generations hit 26 on the chart, and through she failed to provide uni sales for the title. For context, Super Mario 3D Land sold over 625,000, and while Frazier didn’t say where it landed on the full-chart, it wasn’t in the top 10 for the month. Rayman Origins was release in the US on November 15.

Ubisoft’s announced it’ll release a demo of Rayman Origins on PSN and Xbox Live Marketplace next week, November 9. The taster will include three maps from the Jungle, Food and Ocean worlds, with an additional custom map enabling you to navigate through the worlds also in for good measure. A new trailer for Ubisoft’s upcoming Rayman: Origins has gone live. The video shows Rayman and his friends travelling around the world, doing lots of fun things and evading many weird looking enemies in the process .
