Rambo: The Video Game to use original voice tracks, two new screens released
Two new screenshots for Rambo: The Video Game have been released, after a bit of a dry spell. Each depicts a scene from First Blood 2 and Rambo 3. To be published by Reef Entertainment, the Studiocanal game features the original voice-tracks of Sylvester Stallone and the late Richard Crenna in their respective rolls of John Rambo and Col. Samuel Trautman. The game spans the events in the films First Blood, First Blood 2, and Rambo 3. You can expect it to release sometime this year on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Reef Entertainment developing Rambo game for 2012
Reef Entertainment has announced its to release a Rambo game next year for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. The game is so far unnamed, and is a first for hi-def consoles. Reef purchased the rights to make the game from StudioCanal, which could see the studio turning it into a gaming series. The timing of the agreement was considered a good move with the recent Rambo film being such a success, andSylvester Stallone’s Expendables 2 slated for release next summer. Thanks, MCV.

Sega shows off new Rambo game, new screens
Sega’s let press near the upcoming Rambo arcade game, which looks far too much like a modern Operation Wolf that is good for it. The title’s based on the movies of yore, apparently, and not the recent fourth instalment in Sly’s “great work”. It’ll be hitting arcades in September.
Check out Arcade Heroes for a brief report, photos and shots.

Shots of Rambo arcade game surface
On CVG. Looks shit, but it’s Rambo and Sega, so nothing can possibly go wrong. Apparently this is going to release this autumn in Japan. No idea if this will ever make it west, or, indeed, if it would matter if it did.

Call of Duty 4 quote used in US Rambo marketing
Here. A poster for the latest (and, God willing, last) Rambo movie in the States is carrying the quote, “Nasty, Call of Duty 4 style shoot em’ up! A beautiful, BRUTAL movie!”
The zeitgest. Right there. On a crumpled piece of paper in Arizona.
