Rainbow Moon sequel coming in 2014
SideQuest has announced through a job advert on its official website that its popular tactical RPG, Rainbow Moon, will be getting a sequel titled Rainbow Skies. Don’t expect it before 2014, though, according to the information provided. It will release on consoles and handhelds and is currently in the early stages of development. Rainbow Moon, currently available through PSN, is in the works for Vita and is set for release sometime this year. Shots of the game are below. Thanks, Shack.

Rainbow Moon US launch date revealed
Earlier this week, the PAL-region launch details for cutesy-RPG Rainbow Moon were unveiled; namely, July 4 at €12.99/£9.99. Now, publisher eastasiasoft has confirmed to IGN that the PSN-exclusive title will launch in the US the following week, on Tuesday July 10 at $14.99.

Rainbow Moon launch date and new screens
Rainbow Moon, the PSN-exclusive RPG from SideQuest Studios and eastasiasoft, will launch July 4 in Australia and Europe for €12.99/£9.99, with a US and South-East Asia release to follow soon after. In addition to the launch date, publisher eastasiasoft has announced plans to make available over 20 free and premium DLC packages within the first month of release. Rainbow Moon features six playable characters, around 120 special skills, and over 40 hours of play. A raft of screens have also been released; grab them through the break.

Video – Rainbow Moon looks like it will be fun
Sony has released a new video for the Side-Quest Studio PSN-exclusive Rainbow Moon. The strategy-RPG was originally slated to release last year, but the game’s publisher, eastasiasoft, announced a delay into Q1 2012. Upon release, the game will contain 30 hours of gameplay which can be extended to 100 hours with side-questing taken into consideration. It contains six playable characters, 20 dungeons, over 100 skills, and fully customizable weapons and armour.
