Rabbids Go Home finds new home on the DS

Rabbids Go Home, the latest entry in Ubisoft’s curiously popular Rayman offshoot, is DS-bound, reports Kotaku.
Instead of trying out the Prince of All Cosmo’s gig like its Wii counterpart, the DS Rabbids will be slipping into the disembodied kicks of its progenitor Rayman for some platforming and puzzling.
If you’ve got a DSi, you’ll also be able to coat photos in Rabbid clip art with the game’s My Rabbid mode.
Click through the link for the first wacky, zany, buck-toothed screens.

Rabbids Go Home video shows development, voice-overs

There’s a new video featuring behind the scenes footage of Ubisoft’s Rabbids Go Home after the break.
It’s in French, and while our linguistic skills are a bit rusty, you don’t have to be immersed in the language to see the development process or enjoy the voice over work featured at the beginning of it.
That’s why we posted it anyway. The guy sounds like he sucked down a bunch of helium. It’s great.
Thanks, GoNintendo.

Rabbids Go Home detailed in Nintendo Power

Nintendo Power’s got the goods on the Wii-exclusive Rabbids Go Home.
No more mini-games apparently: it’s a proper action-adventure title.
First details:
- Rabbids Go Home is described as an action-adventure game.
- The Rabbids have decided they want to go home, but they don’t know where home is. For whatever reason, they decide that the moon is their destination.
- The Rabbids’ goal is to collect enough junk to build a tower to reach the moon.
- Players control two Rabbids at once: one sits inside a shopping cart, another pushes the cart.
- You collect junk by pushing the cart into it.
- Players can use the “BWAH!” attack to scare clothing off of NPCs, then collect it to add the clothing items to their towers.
- Other items are used to give Rabbids new abilities and power-ups for carts.
No date. Thanks, GoNintendo.

Rabbids Go Home still in development

Looks as though Ubisoft is still working on Rabbids Go Home, if the resume for programmer Julien Delezenne is any indication.
According to Delezenne’s CV, he has been working on the Raving Rabbids game since 2007, and is also hard at work on Beyond Good & Evil 2.
Rabbids Go Home was announced last year, but nothing’s been heard about it since.
