XBLA Puzzle Quest: Galactrix still not confirmed for February 24

Puzzle Quest: Galactrix still does not have a solid release date for XBLA.
Speaking with VG247, a D3 rep told us that while the game is scheduled for release on DS and PC February 24, a date still has not been set for the XBL version.
“Puzzle Quest: Galactrix for DS and PC are confirmed to ship to retail on February 24. We’ll also offer several digital download options for PC starting that day. We have not confirmed a live date for the XBLA version of Puzzle Quest: Galactrix at this time,” said the spokesperson.
Developer Infinite Interactive was also unsure when their puzzler would be made available due to the fact that, “XBLA dates often move around at the whims of Microsoft”.
Couldn’t have said it better ourselves. We’ll let you know when we do.

Galactrix gets release date for PC, DS, maybe XBLA

A February release date for Puzzle Quest: Galactrix on DS was confirmed today, along with the confirmation that a PC version would arrive simultaneously.
An XBLA version isn’t 100 percent confirmed yet. February 24 lands on a Tuesday, which would mess up “the whole Xbox Live Arcade Wednesday thing” we have come to expect, says Joystiq.

Puzzle Quest: Galactrix demo Flashed for free
D3′s stuck up a decent Flash demo of the upcoming Puzzle Quest: Galactrix here, featuring a two-player puzzle-off against an NPC.
The futuristic sequel to the stupidly popular Puzzle Quest features a robotic woman saying things like, “Supernova,” as well as the opportunity to laser opponents. Because you’re in space, obviously.
The game itself releases for PC, DS, XBLA and PSN next month.

Puzzle Quest: Galactrix for PC, DS and 360 this year
Here. The sequel to the game we keep meaning to buy but never do is set in space, a step into the future from Puzzle Quest’s original fantasy world. Apparently this one’s all about hexagons.
“For Puzzle Quest: Galactrix, our development team will persist in that vein and introduce an innovative hexagonal puzzle board to the mix, along with a deeply immersive new science-fiction setting and storyline that gamers will find irresistible,” said Steve Fawkner, Infinite Interactive president.
According to the press release, “In Puzzle Quest: Galactrix a horrifying scientific accident has provoked another race to attempt extermination of humankind; players will create a persistent pilot who gains skills, crafts items, maneuvers among the universe’s political factions, and upgrades the ultimate space fleet as they attempt to end the genocide.”
It all sounds very exciting. You’ll be able to play it this autumn.
