Resistance Retribution coming to America in March

Sony Bend studios’ PSP shooter, Resistance Retribution, will be available March 17th, writes the PSBlog.

The news comes in wake of the Euro March 19 date we revealed last week.

Resistance Retribution will be the first PSP title to make use of Sony’s PSP Plus tech that allows for games to be played using a dual shock controller.

Over at Watch Impress. The PSP shooter is looking very sharp indeed, we reckon. The game will be the first of its kind to use PSP Plus technology which enables players to use their PS3 controllers to play the game.

Resistance Retribution is set for a Spring 09 release.

PSP Plus will allow PS3 controllers to connect to PSP, says Sony

According to this Joystiq story Sony announced PSP Plus at TGS today, a feature that allows a DualShock to wirelessly connect to PSP.

The system will only be supported by the upcoming Resistance Retribution for now – allowing players to use dual analog control with the third-person action game – but more titles will “potentially” use it in the future, according to that piece.
