Max and the Magic Marker PS3 gets a date
Developer Press Play has confirmed that their Wii indie hit Max and the Magic Marker is set to hit PSN later this month in Europe and next month in the US.

Hawken gets new teaser trailer
Adhesive has released a teaser trailer for its upcoming multiplayer mech-combat game Hawken. The trailer throws some light on the story of the game, as well as featuring gameplay footage showing mechs fighting each other and contains a beautiful background score. The game’s looking pretty good. Adhesive’s also confirmed that another trailer for the game is due at the end of this week. The downloadable title is in development for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, but has no date yet. Watch the trailer below.

New Awesomenauts trailer released
Ronimo Games has released a new trailer for upcoming title Awesomenauts. The footage features the game’s intro, as well as containing some new artwork based on intergalactic scenes from the title. The 80′s TV-inspired 2D multiplayer brawler is due out on PSN and XBL but has no date yet. Watch the trailer after the break.

EU PSN members to get free games with Sony’s Welcome Back program
Sony has announced on the EU PS Blog that as well as offering data protection services endemic to each region, it will also be offering PSN users two free games from a list of five titles as part of a Welcome Back program. PSP users will be able to choose from a list of four. The program, which is an apology for the recent PSN hack, will also contain the previously announced month of free PlayStation Plus membership for all PSN customers, and a free extension to current Plus and Music Unlimited customers. More consolation prizes are expected to be announced soon.
